-Clean face, hair, no makeup or hair product, Wash area(s) that will be treated (prefer you shower before your visit) Avoid perfume, lotions or any chemicals to the skin especially on the treated area (s).

-No jewelry (earrings, necklace etc.) especially from the neck on and up.

-Bring hair ties (pull hair back away from face).

-Wear comfortable clothes (avoid draped clothes: Opt for clothes that expose neck, shoulders, arms, legs & feet). Most exposure to your skin is always safer and better in receiving technique(s). (we may offer a towel wrap for the upper part of the body).

-Bring bottle water (keep yourself well hydrated) and also, drink plenty of water the day before and after your visit more than what your norm to hydrate your body (helps flush out and process toxins, a remnant after a message)

-Get plenty of rest (go to bed early).

-Complete mental clarity for this procedure is a must! No drugs, alcohol and or caffeine the day before and the day of your visit, but also a few days after your visit as this may negate the benefits of the treatment.

-Eat light meals starting the day before your visit but nothing for 3-2 hours prior to your visit.

-Avoid after your procedure; cool air or air conditioning (straight to the body and face area), consumption of cold drinks, direct sun or heat and heavy meals

-If you have not followed through with the Preparation Instructions for Visit.

-If you suspect or have a Contagious diseases, including any cold or flu, no matter how mild it may seem (fever, body chills, feeling sick)

-Injury requiring surgery or acute injuries: Injury(s) clearly needing surgery instead of a noninvasive treatment and also if you are under a physician's care and have not been released, such as after surgery to ensure proper healing. 

-Under the influence of drugs or alcohol-including prescription pain medication including under current physician care.

-High or low blood pressure, cancer (particular at the treatment site, as it may promote tumor growth), Epilepsy and/or Seizures (due to the level of stimulation are not recommended).

-Swelling or inflammation, Severe bruising, cuts, open sores and skin abrasions and disorders, especially in the area to be treated and/or If you have had a steroid injection to the same area in the last three months and are under 18 yrs old, have poor sensation (neuropathy) or hypersensitivity in the target areas.

-Recent head injury, head Concussion, head tumor.

-Severe osteoporosis, Hypermobile joints and/Or bone fractures,

Neuritis (inflammation of a peripheral nerve or nerves, usually causing pain and loss of function) Especially on the head or neck and or recovering from foot, legs, hands and arms or have gout, especially on the area being treated. 

-Pregnant and/or nursing.

-VP shunts or any body drains and/or Artificial cardiac pacemaker.

-People suffering from nausea, vomiting or excessive sweating condition.

-Diabetes and/or Gallbladder disease.

-Thrombosis and/or infection of the blood vessels of the feet, legs, arms, shoulders and hands.

-Individuals with blood clotting disorder (*bleeding disorders) and/or taking blood thinning or anticoagulant medication such as aspirin (75mg on daily basis) or warfarin, as it may lead to increased bleeding risk.

-If you ever had an allergic, severe reaction to any message, techniques, intuitive healing and/or energy modality before.

-If you have an allergy to fish, seeds, peanuts, or any of the ingredients on the natural herbs, essential oils and floral, coconut or Rose Water (we can also substitute warm water to avoid allergies)

 *On the basis of the type of ailment or health concern, Shirodhara can be performed for a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 28 days in 2 months. We advise the purchase of Special Bundles.
